MobileCT Viewer is cleared by the FDA for the following indications of use

The MobileCT Viewer software program provides for communication and display of CT, MRI, X­ray medical images on the Apple iPad (4th generation, late 2012) . It is intended for use as a diagnostic, review and analysis tool by trained professionals.

MobileCT Viewer provides wireless and portable access to medical images. This device is not intended to replace full workstations and should be used only when there is no access to a workstation.

This device is not to be used for mammography.

Executive team

Michael Pan is the Founder and CEO of nephosity. Previously Michael worked at DreamWorks Animation, where he was the lead for the studio renderfarm workflow system. That work was nominated for a 2010 Academy SciTech Award. He is credited on films such as Shrek the Third, Kung Fu Panda, How to Train Your Dragon. Michael has led the workflow computing group at the Laboratory for NeuroImaging (an NIH Center of Computational Biology), and worked at JPL and HP Labs on other distributed and web­scale computing projects. Michael has degrees from UCLA and University of Pennsylvania.
Zai Chang is the co-founder and UI architect for nephosity. He has built various iOS apps, including an offline maps app that ranked as high as #1 in travel category for the iPad app store. He also has over 6 years of experience building traditional, touch and gestural user interfaces as well as data visualization programs at Oblong Industries, Bunkspeed and UCLA. Zai has an MFA in Design | Media Arts and an M.S. in Electrical Engineering from UCLA.
Ronnie Ng oversees business strategy and financial planning as CFO for nephosity. He has spent 10 years in investment banking advising corporate clients on mergers & acquisitions, high-yield bond and levered loan offerings, financial restructurings and equity offerings. Most recently he was an Executive Director at UBS Investment Bank in the Media & Communications group. Prior to UBS, Ronnie was also an investment banker at Deutsche Bank covering Financial Institutions and at Houlihan Lokey covering Aerospace & Defense clients. Ronnie has a B.S. in finance from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign.

Medical advisors

John J Pan, MD, MBA, MPH serves as an expert medical advisor to nephosity. He is board certified in diagnostic radiology, and currently serves as the Director of Musculoskeletal and Spine Interventions and the Director of the Musculoskeletal Imaging and Intervention Fellowship at Harvard's Brigham & Women's Hospital, and Instructor at Harvard Medical School. John received his MD from the University of Pennsylvania, performed a residency in diagnostic radiology at Yale's Bridgeport Hospital, and completed his fellowship in musculoskeletal radiology at Brigham & Women's. He also holds an MBA from the Wharton School and an MPH from Harvard's School of Public Health.
